I create my life instead of living on autopilot.
BUT IT WASN’T ALWAYS THIS WAY.
- I used to be miserable.
- I wasn’t happy inside.
- I struggled to even like myself. I never felt like I fit in. I wished I could be accepted and loved.
So, of course I started looking for things to fill the void. Relationships (unhealthy ), alcohol, drugs, in-and-out of religion– but nothing could break the deep-seated sense of unworthiness and loneliness.
I was searching for acceptance, feeling lonely and disconnected. I never felt loved or cherished. Along came marriages, divorces, pregnancies and the continual feeling that I was searching for something and it just couldn’t be found.
Sound familiar?
I heard a radio ad one day for massage school. It wasn’t something that I had ever thought of doing, but that day it spoke to me and I knew I needed to take that step.
I quit a well-paying, secure, job because I knew I was supposed to go to massage school. Picture this!! I’m in my 40s, starting off on a new adventure, changing my whole life!
I WAS FINALLY ON THE RIGHT PATH AND IT FELT AMAZING!
I had never before understood the connection between MENTAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL and our thought processes– and how they all play together to create behavior patterns from all of our past experiences.
In 1999 I graduated from massage school and started my own business. Years of feeling unloved, abandoned and not accepted had taken their toll. It’s no surprise that I found myself on the receiving end of infidelity, emotional abuse, and stuck against a partner’s pornography addiction.
The way I felt about myself and the past experiences created the patterns in my life.
I learned the power of emotional healing and the importance of embracing your journey with honesty and vulnerability.
YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!
FINALLY, at 41 years-old, I was able to say:
“I LIKE MYSELF!”
I like who I am and what I’m about. I am good enough. I AM LOVE!
It was at that point I realized what I had been looking for . . . . ME!
My transformation began on the INSIDE and soon transformed everything around me in my life. There is always hope and we all have the power within to heal and transform our lives.
You could search all over the WORLD for what’s missing, but I promise it’s already inside you.
The journey IS within.
